The BUCCUSA family proudly unveiled a premier football tournament designed not only to showcase outstanding local talent, but also to unite youth, advocate against drugs abuse, and empower the youth.

How we orchestrated TONGAREN FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT from conception to reality.
Preparation
BUCCUSA coordinated with local sports officials in Tongaren to secure playing fields and register diverse youth teams. We mobilized volunteer referees and medical personnel from our member base to ensure a professional and safe competitive environment for all participants.
Core Strategy
Our strategy used football as a "hook" to deliver critical anti-drug messages. We partnered with local influencers and community elders to lead halftime dialogues, turning every match into a powerful platform for youth empowerment and positive peer influence.

Direct Impact
Two weeks of sweat, cheers, and heart on the pitch came down to yesterday’s grand finale at Naitiri Primary School, both men’s and ladies’ teams leaving it all out there. A true showcase of grit, unity, and pure talent.
Hurdles & Victory.
Challenges Faced
Some of few challenges include inadequate resources to facilitate the Event. Unpredictable Weather Changes and this we are talking about rain which flooded the pitches.
How we conquered
We had to squeeze our Budget to try to accommodate everything. We also had to do Internal Fundraising Among the Executives.
